Introduction

In 2013, sculptural artist Andy Gage sketched his vision for the original English Country ‘fireball’, a 900mm statement piece, hand drawn and freehand plasma cut from a 6mm-thick steel ball.

In 2014, Andy was invited to exhibit the fireball at RHS Chelsea and since then, we haven’t looked back.

We’re delighted our products have made so many people happy along the way – we love helping our customers bring their ideas to life to create something truly individual and personal to them.

Andy Gage

Sculptural Artist & Founder

Andy is a farmer from Helions Bumpstead, where he runs a mixed farm with poultry, horses and cropping. He lives on site with his wife and family and enjoys developing the farm business and land nearby. Andy took over the farm when he was 21 and has actively pursued new ventures on the farm since then. In 2013 Andy hit upon a new diversification idea – stunning spherical firepits.

Andy set about making his first firepit with typical grit and determination – taking time to design the first piece, before cutting and finishing the piece himself. The initial growth of the business was staggering and what began as a sole project soon become a much bigger prospect. Andy still takes joy in drawing the firepits, bringing together client ideas to make stunning sculptural pieces that mean as much to their new owners as they do to Andy himself!

In addition to creating beautiful firepits Andy spends considerable amounts of time on the various farm businesses. He is a keen fisherman and is currently enjoying developing a lake on the farm land. Andy is a keen runner and completed the London Marathon in 2019 in aid of The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
