The evenings are drawing in, the jumpers are back out, and it’s tempting to think the garden’s had its moment for the year. It hasn’t. This is when a fire pit earns its keep.
A garden feature, not just a heat source
There’s a reason people stop mid-sentence the first time they see one of out fire pits lit. After dark the flames catch behind the cut-out design and the steel seems to disappear, leaving just light and silhouette. Trees, deer, a whole scene, glowing. It’s as much a piece of garden sculpture as it is somewhere to warm your hands, and on a cold October evening it’s the reason people stay outside instead of heading in.
The craft behind every fire pit
The design. whether that’s our English Country scene with its trees and deer, the Africa design, or the Wildflower — is hand drawn and then plasma-cut by hand into steel. It’s slow, deliberate work, done here in the workshop, not stamped out on a production line somewhere. That’s also why we get asked so often whether the photos on our site are real: they are. Every glowing sphere you see online is one we’ve actually lit and photographed, not generated.
The English Country design, with its trees and deer running around the base, remains our most popular by some distance there’s something about bringing that quintessentially British woodland scene into a garden that people keep coming back to. But if you want something that reflects you rather than one of our standard scenes, we can customise a firepit to include elements that mean something to your family or your space, just get in touch to talk it through.

Not ready for a full sphere?
If a sphere feels like a bigger step than you’re ready for right now, MiniBlaze is worth a look — a smaller, tabletop fire pit made here in Suffolk, built for a table for two or a small gathering rather than a whole garden. It’s a much lower-commitment way to get a real flame back into your evenings, and everything that goes with it — the fuel, the candles, even the lighter — is sourced from small British suppliers within a few miles of our workshop.

Bring the fire back
Whichever you choose, the idea is the same: autumn doesn’t have to be the end of using your garden, it can just be a different kind of evening out there. Browse the full range of fire pit spheres, or get in touch if you’d like to talk through a custom design before the cold really sets in.
