Military

We have been fortunate enough to work on some truly inspirational bespoke pieces, including a giant 1400mm sphere for the Royal Artillery Officers Mess and a wide range of individual pieces to commemorate the service of the armed forces all over the country.

We’ve distilled the best of these pieces into some truly magnificent military themed pieces which we know you will love!

Military Ball

Fireball

Every one of our hand made spherical Firepits is produced with thought and devotion, but each one of our military balls holds a special place in our hearts. Usually produced to mark a serviceman’s retirement we do our best to understand the unique features of their regiment. Often working with fellow servicemen we develop intricate designs to mark these truly unique works of art.

The Firepit could encompass the regiment logo, name and service dates. You might also include scenery from your most notable tour. This piece will be a truly unique item to celebrate your service, or that of a loved one. Purchasing here will be the start of the commissioning process. Once we have the feedback from you on what elements you want to include we will discuss the designs and eventually draw the design on to the ball for feedback. Please note that lead times for this piece will vary since it is a completely bespoke piece.

Remembrance Ball

Fireball

Originally created as a very special piece for our Chelsea Flower Stand the Remembrance Ball is a perfect homage to those fallen heroes. Subsequently recreated for very special customers the piece is sure to bring a lump to your throat and a tear to your eye. In one scene a soldier makes their way around the ball, whilst elsewhere another pays homage to their fallen comrades. Each scene is broken up with distinctive poppies bringing to the forefront of your mind the sacrifices many have made.

The Royal Artillery Officers Mess

In 2015 Andy was asked to work one a very special commission for the Royal Artillery Officers Mess in Larkhill. This was a giant 1400mm sphere, which still takes pride of place today. As part of the project Andy was very excited to be invited along to spend some time with them and play with some very special toys!

Both the special ball and the day out remain a very enjoyable memory!
