Absolutely! We offer a range of customisation options including size, design, and finishes. Contact us on 07899806693.(or complete a quote form) to discuss your specific requirements.

What should I consider when choosing a location for my firepit?

Ensure the location is a safe distance from any flammable structures or materials. It’s also important to place the firepit on a non-combustible surface, a natural stone slab is a perfect base and will provide a good heat gap to decking below. See our full safety & placement guide for more.

Do you provide installation services?

No, however our firepits are easy to install and just require lifting into place. You may need a friend to help, but we find an offer of a drink around the finished firepit helps!

MAINTENANCE & SAFETY

How do I maintain my firepit?

Our natural finished firepits are maintenance free. If you opt for a painted finish these may need the paintwork touching up each year, we will provide a tin of paint when you purchase your firepit. See our full firepit care guide for more.

What should I do if there is an issue with my firepit?

If you encounter any issues, please contact us.

Are your firepits safe to use?

Yes, our firepits are designed with safety in mind. However, it’s important to follow any safety guidelines provided. Never leave a fire unattended. See our full safety & placement guide for more.

FIREPIT FUEL

What can I burn in my firepit?

Wood Burning Firepit – If you have a ordered a wood burning firepit you should use well seasoned logs.

Eco Fuel Burning Firepit – If you have ordered a firepit that can burn our eco fuel or you have ordered a retro fit kit for your current firepit you will be provided with one set of fuel. These come in two sizes, either a 4hr or 8hr burn time. See our full fuel & lighting guide for more.

Does the Eco Fuel provide a big flame?

Yes it does. Once the Eco Fuel is lit it will take approx. 20-30 mins to fully light, but once it has it will be a large bonfire flame and give out a good heat. You won’t be able to build a fire as big as a large wood pile and therefore this fuel is not suited to our very large 1200mm firepits, however customers report that they like this fuel as it provides a large fire while being very low smoke and odourless.

Is the Eco fuel smokeless?

Our Eco fuel is made from soy wax which, when burned is smokeless. There is a small amount of smoke from the burning of the large wick, however this is odourless and far less than the smoke produced from burning wood. This fuel is ideal for those who do not like the smoke from a fire or have a garden where smoke is a problem for nearby neighbours.

Where can I purchase extra Eco Fuel for my firepit or MiniBlaze?

You can buy extra fuels directly through our website by clicking on the eco fuel category.

Do I need an electrician to install a water feature?

All our jet and pump-driven water features run from a standard mains plug, with most models needing two sockets (one for the pump, one for the LED lighting). We leave the electrical installation itself to a qualified electrician.

How do I maintain my water feature?

The steel is treated differently to our firepits — rather than developing a weathered patina, it’s coated with a clear protective coating to stop rust leaching into the water and turning it brown (if you’ve chosen powder coating instead, that adds a further layer of protection). Beyond that, the main upkeep is topping up water levels, especially in warmer months, and keeping the pump’s intake clear of leaves and debris.

Why is my water feature sphere finished differently to a firepit sphere?

Firepit spheres are designed to weather naturally over time. Water feature spheres are different: they sit in water, so we coat them with a clear protective finish (or powder coating, if you’ve chosen that option) to stop rust discolouring the water.

What happens to my water feature in winter?

Nothing needs to be done — our water features are designed to be left running outdoors through winter, with no need to drain them or disconnect the pump. It’s worth keeping an eye out for extra leaves and debris in autumn and winter, but otherwise the upkeep is the same all year round.

Can I customise my water feature design?

Yes — most of our sphere water features can be created using hand-drawn artwork in any of our designs, and we also offer fully bespoke rill and sphere water features built around your own idea.

Are garden water features any good?

Yes, a well-built one earns its place: ours are self-contained recirculating units, hand-cut from steel with a protective coating, pairing the sound of moving water with a genuine piece of garden sculpture rather than an off-the-shelf ornament.

What are the common problems with water features?

The usual issues are algae or green water, limescale build-up in hard water areas, and debris clogging the pump intake — all straightforward to manage with occasional cleaning (see our Care & Maintenance guide). Rust staining is a common complaint with untreated Corten steel features; ours are coated specifically to prevent this.

Should I leave my water feature running all the time?

You can — our recirculating features are designed to run continuously, including through winter, with no need to drain them down. Many owners run theirs for a few hours a day instead, which uses less electricity with no downside to the feature itself.

Do garden water features need to be plumbed in?

No — ours are closed-loop, self-contained units with their own recirculating pump. All you need on site is a flat, stable surface and a standard 240V power supply, not a plumbing connection.

Do you install outdoor kitchens?

No — our outdoor kitchens arrive fully built, ready to be positioned in your space. There’s no flat-pack assembly required, you simply place each modular piece where you want it. For gas or electrical connections (such as the Beefeater Gas BBQ or the Blastcool Outdoor Fridge), we’d recommend using a qualified gas engineer or electrician.

Can I mix and match outdoor kitchen pieces?

Yes — our outdoor kitchen range is fully modular. Choose from our pre-built layouts, or build your own combination of Cooking Station, Cabinet with Doors, Corner Unit, Delivita Pizza Oven and Outdoor Fridge to suit your space.

What cooking options fit the Cooking Station?

The Cooking Station is designed for our signature BBQ Sphere or a Kamado Joe ceramic grill, and fits most similarly sized ceramic grills up to 530mm in diameter. If you already have a grill you’d like to use, check its dimensions, or get in touch for a custom fit.

Does the Outdoor Fridge need to be covered in winter?

No — the Blastcool Outdoor Fridge is built to withstand winter conditions and doesn’t need a cover.
